  1. How can I visit the Print and Minting House?

    For high school group visits, please send a visit request letter to the Director of the Institution. Individuals interested in visiting the museum should also send a written letter.

  2. Do you sell antique coins?

    No, but you can consult the Numismatics Association of Chile (ANUCH).

  3. How much is a gold coin worth?

    Please consult the Central Bank of Chile or the Chilean Stock Exchange.

  4. How long have coins been around in Chile?

    Coins have been minted in Chile since 1749.

  5. How can I obtain an antique stamp seal press?

    Please consult the Chilean Stamp Collectors Society.

  6. How can I acquire a commemorative medal, plaque or imprint?

    You may come to our offices located at Av. Portales N° 3586, Estación Central (Commercial Area) or call 02 598 5376 – 02 598 5375.

  7. What are your hours of operation?

    Monday to Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m

  8. Is it possible to special order a new product or do you only sell products in stock?

    You may commission a new design for a commemorative medal, plaque, etc., that meets your needs. We have an experienced team to help you get exactly what you are looking for.

  9. Do you have a museum?

    Yes, our institution has its own museum.

  10. Can you provide a replacement for a banknote that is in poor condition?

    No. To replace banknotes in poor condition please consult the Central Bank of Chile.
